NEWS: January 17th is volunteer build/paint/sew/lift day! Mark your calendar. Bring your friends! Fun will be had!
Kids4Kids shares the JOY of live theatre with performers, design and technical crew and, of course, audiences! We can't do it without you.
We commit to creating a safe, inspiring, and fun rehearsal and performance environment in which your young performer will flourish.
Your child commits to giving his or best to the show: arriving on time, behaving professionally in rehearsal, memorizing lines and music ahead of deadline, taking his or her talent to the limit!
You commit to supporting your child--and to supporting the production:

If your child is cast in a Kids4Kids show, congratulations! You are part of the show as well! Your commitment of time and talent is required in order to create a safe, inspiring, and fun environment for all of the kids in the show. If this will prove a hardship for you, please contact SBCT's education director BEFORE your child accepts the part, to discuss alternative ways to help.
Essential parent contributions include:
Show Parent/Actor Wrangler: Our child-safety policy requires that an adult who is not part of the production team be present at every rehearsal and performance. Without this very important adult, we may be forced to cancel a rehearsal--or even a performance. Show parents assist kids with non-performance needs from bandaids to bathrooms, help to sustain a positive and nurturing atmosphere, and support all the performers as they learn professional 'actor manners'.. This is a great job for anyone who enjoys kids and likes to be part of the creative process. Young actors are fun to spend time with! You'll be supported every step of the way by the production team and will get the inside scoop on the show.
Show Parent Coordinator: Organizes show-parent scheduling and acts as the liason between stage management and show parents. You'll work with the production team to put in place a great system to ensure that all rehearsals and performances are covered and that the show parent job stays powerful and fun.
Stitcher: Works with our costume designer, to build costumes for the show. This is a great job for the sewing--or crafty--inclined to do at home or in costume get-togethers.
Muscle: For those who like to heft and haul--or are just willing to lend a hand--load in and strike crew is a lot of fun...and often includes pizza.
Actor Nutrition Specialist: For longer rehearsals, you bring the snack. A job for those who like to be popular. Very popular.
Cast Party Organizer: You know who you are....let's plan a fun celebration for cast and crew.
